Picking a baby name can be an extremely difficult task.  However, you don’t want to let it stress you out when the baby is about to come, do your best to get it out of the way.  Do some online research, but not too much.  Many people are interesting in the meaning of baby names as well as famous people with certain baby names.  Ultimately, you will decide what is right for you.  Be sure that you feel comfortable and that you’ve chosen a name that your baby will be proud of forever.

I hope everyone had a great Easter.  My daughter did.  Of course, we forgot (or ran out of time) to dye the eggs, but the Easter bunny still came and he left her a lot of cool stuff.  Her weekend was action packed with a Narouz dinner for her Zoroastrian roots, and Easter Egg Hunt for her catholic roots as well as an Easter dinner.

On Saturday she got to go on an Easter Egg hunt with her cousins.  How lucky is she?  She had so much fun.  On Sunday she got to play with her cousin again.  She really enjoyed her Narouz/Easter weekend.  Once everyone left she cried.  She hated to see the many parties end; however at bedtime she was ready to get to sleep.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Enjoy!!!

Well the time has come for my daughter to get ear tubes.  She has had too many ear infections and has been on too many antibiotics for her age.  We met with a specialist in November and he said she was a candidate, but we could also wait to see if she got another one since she only had two ear infections (it is just that one lasted from August to October).  So, we decided to wait and see.  November was clear and December was pretty good.  By the end of December it was evident that she had another ear infection.  We spoke to her doctor and he said he would wait to see how this one cleared up.  It cleared up right away the first week of January ( her birthday week).  In February she got another one and although this one cleared up right away this was her third one and this was a double ear infection.  We knew it was time and the doctor confirmed that.

Now the day for her procedure is tomorrow.  Happy St. Patty’s Day my little Irish Princess.  I know she will be fine, but I am nervous.  I am worried about the anesthesia.  I will be a wreck tomorrow.

Anyone out there have any suggestions?  How did you handle it when your child went under?

Thanks and wish us luck.

Hello!  Well yesterday I celebrated a birthday.  Birthdays are different now that I am a mom.  I used to focus on me on my day, but now all I want to do is hang with my daughter and relax.  Just spending the day with her is the best gift.  Of course she thinks the gifts are for her and the cake.  It was fun to share the excitement with her.  She clapped her hands when I opened the card from her.  Seeing my birthday through her eyes was a lot of fun.

I was so excited for her birthday and in turn she was so excited for mine.  We make a great mother and daughter team.  She is so much fun.

Happy Birthday to me and all the others who have an Ides of March birthday.

Enjoy!!!

HELLO AGAIN!!!  I am back and hope to be back for good this time.  It has been crazy in my house since the holidays.  My daughter has had one ear infection after another and just recently brought the flu home for the family to share.  Now that we have had all illnesses, I think we are good (I hope so anyway).

So now we can focus on the upcoming Spring and getting out into nature again.  I am looking forward to getting back to daily walks with my daughter and days spent in the sun.   I love this time of year when things are starting to come back to life and the days are lit longer.

I am ready to air out my house and rid it of all the germs that hibernated here during the winter.  It is time for fresh air and sunshine.

ENJOY!
